St. Luke Parish is inviting ALL Girl Scouts, of all faiths, to join in celebrating Girl Scout Sunday.


Saturday, March 7 at the 5 pm service

Sunday, March 8 at the 9:30 am service


We need Girl Scouts in uniform to not only attend but also to participate!!


All the girls will be invited to be part of the entrance procession, as well as be invited around the altar for the Consecration.


Please let me know if your Girl Scout would like to help in one of the following ways:

(1)   Flag bearer - entrance procession

(1)   Crucifix holder - entrance procession

(2)  Scripture readers

(6)  Prayers of the Faithful readers

(6)  Offertory Procession (carry up the Gifts)


This is a wonderful opportunity for Girl Scouts of all faiths to come together to show their love of God as well as their pride in being a Girl Scout!

Cash or checks payable to Washington Twp Girl Scouts - PLEASE include Troop Number and names of attendees

Payment can be made at the rink (cash or check only)

Are your girls interested in marching in the parade?


RSVP to by February 15, 2020

Include troop number and names of everyone attending.

Be sure to identify girls and adults. Please limit RSVPs to one per troop.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District is bringing the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade to town, Sunday, March 15, 2020! This Irish-American tradition attracts more than 14,000 visitors! Streets fill with enthusiasm as families, residents and visitors line up along the curb, in store windows and porches to celebrate and witness the festive parade. The parade will kick-off at 3:30PM with Grand Marshal Mr. Joseph “Joe” Barnes from Hackettstown's sister city, Hacketstown, Ireland leading numerous participants including: Irish dance groups, Irish bands, community groups, bagpipes, drums, Hackettstown and surrounding area fire departments and rescue squads, as well as hometown favorites Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers and the Hackettstown Community Band!

Washington Township Girl Scouts will receive money for every pound collected!
Please ensure all items donated are in good, usable condition and in bags. The items collected ARE NOT SHREDDED. They are sent to those in need in third world countries.

Acceptable Items:

Clothes& Shoes: All sizes (no winter items or high heels)
Accessories: Belts, Purses, Backpacks, Ball Caps
Toys: Soft or Hard Toys, 14 inches or smaller
Linens: Bedsheets, Bedspreads, Blankets, Curtains, Towels

Drop Off Instructions:
Donations will be accepted beginning February 20th. The pick up is scheduled for
February 22nd at 4:00 PM. Please do not leave any donations once the truck has left.
Please be sure to bag all donations and leave inside the barn. Do not leave donations
where they will block our cars in the driveway.
